The man in the suit turns toward the worker, acknowledging him with a subtle nod. He tells the couple that they did not just insult a worker; they insulted the owner of the hotel. He reveals that he came to the location specifically to observe how guests interact with the people who maintain the property.
The couple stands still, their earlier confidence replaced by stillness. The man in the suit informs them that their reservation is now canceled. He gestures toward the street, indicating that they should leave the premises. The worker continues to hold his broom, standing in the same spot, watching the man in the suit as he waits for the couple to comply with the order to exit the property.
