Out of curiosity, I decided to set up a night-vision camera to see what happens around me while I sleep in a tent in the middle of the forest; during the night, a fawn climbed into my tent — and what it did filled me with real horror 😨😱

I have always considered myself a lover of extreme activities. Skydiving, mountain climbing, spending the night in a tent deep in the wild forest in winter — all of this was never fear for me, but pleasure. I loved the adrenaline, the sense of risk, and those moments when you are left alone, face to face with nature.

But recently, something so strange and unexpected happened to me that afterward I seriously began to think that maybe it’s time to stop these kinds of experiments.

That day, my friends and I decided to spend the night in the forest. Winter, snow, silence — only the crunch of branches under our feet and occasional gusts of wind. We set up our tents directly on the ground, without any comforts at all: just sleeping bags and warm clothes. Exactly the way I like it.

Out of curiosity and for a “cool video,” I decided to install a night surveillance camera. I wanted to see what happens around me while I sleep. I slightly opened the entrance to the tent, turned on the camera, and crawled into my sleeping bag. Honestly, I was hoping something unusual would happen outside — as long as the wolves didn’t eat me.

I fell asleep quickly.

The next morning, already at home, I sat down to watch the footage. The first few hours — nothing special. At times, strong wind, swaying branches, strange nighttime sounds. At one point, it even became boring, and I was about to turn the video off.

But around three in the morning, everything changed.

A deer appeared next to the tent. Or rather — a fawn. Small, thin, with wary eyes. I literally held my breath as I watched the screen, even though I knew it was just a recording.

At first, it simply stood there. It sniffed the air, moved closer to the tent, took cautious steps. It was clear that it was frightened and didn’t understand what this strange object in the middle of the forest was. Then it came closer. It realized that someone was inside… but that person wasn’t moving and posed no danger.

And then it climbed into the tent.

What happened next made my blood run cold. In the footage, you can see the fawn carefully looking at me — at my face, at the sleeping bag. It’s literally standing just a couple of steps away. And then… 😨🫣 Continued in the first comment 👇👇

And then it calmly begins to do its business right next to me.

Small black round droppings fell onto my clothes, onto the sleeping bag, and even onto my face. It was a real nightmare. And at that moment, I was sleeping completely peacefully, feeling nothing at all, and even smiling in my sleep.

The fawn probably decided it had found the perfect bathroom — warm, sheltered from the wind and snow. And it simply didn’t miss the opportunity.

Thank God I didn’t see this in real life.

When I finished watching the recording to the end, I felt genuinely uneasy. At that moment, I realized: enough. I had more than enough adrenaline in my life.
