If a grandchild is a blessing, then consider this woman the luckiest and most blessed person in the world! I can’t even fathom having such a big family, but here we are! Family gatherings and holidays must be a real hoot, and trying to remember all of those birthdays? Better her than me!
The British grandmother’s family tree is actually an entire orchard, and that’s no overstatement. When the 90-year-old woman welcomed her 100th grandchild to the family, even she couldn’t believe it! But she wouldn’t change it for the world. This brings all new meaning to the phrase, “the more, the merrier!” 😉
I can’t blame her for losing count along the way. “I just couldn’t believe it when I was told I had 100 grandchildren,” she said. But she does remember the days when she felt like she was just bouncing back and forth between home and the hospital to give birth…
Winnie Stokes had 14 kids in total with her late husband, Ken. And from there, the family just kept branching out! She doesn’t just have grandchildren; She has great-grandchildren… and great-great-grandchildren!
I imagine this has to be some sort of record, right? Either way, I bet the get-togethers are never boring! 🙂
